The research program began in 1970 and lasted 25 years, built upon foundational consciousness exploration techniques created by out-of-body pioneer Robert Monroe. The Gateway Process was declassified in 2003 with additional program records released in 2017.1 2

But why did I end up learning remote viewing?

About 10 years ago, my wife, who is a clinical psychologist, suddenly became a medium and started unexpectedly communicating with spirits and entities that our eyes normally don’t see. It began with my father, whom I lost when I was 5 years old. He connected to her to prove that I could be in contact with him through her as a medium. At the time, this was complete nonsense to me, and for years I denied it and remained extremely sceptical about esoteric, mystical and spiritual phenomena such as intuition, hearing, seeing or talking to deceased people. I was a hard one to cook…

My father, through my wife, managed to prove to me the inexplicable contact with the invisible realm, you know those types of information that are so intimate and precise, never written down and shared, that nobody could ever know them. These details make you humbly consider things commonly not accepted — especially in Western societies, as potential new reality. Those proofs opened my views toward another nature of reality and completely changed my perception of life.

Over the years, my wife has encountered more and more spirits and beings of all forms: deceased people, angelic or galactic entities, guides, thought-forms and more. At the beginning, those encounters were unexpected and random, until she went to the world-class spiritualist Arthur Findlay College in the UK to train her psychic and mediumship abilities like a professional — mastering the process by which the channeling connection with other realms could be made securely and on-demand.

<a It is, in and of itself, one gigantic hologram of unbelievable complexity. According to the theories of Karl Pribram, a neuroscientist at Stanford University and David Bohm, a physicist at the University of London, the human mind is also a hologram which attunes itself to the universal hologram by the medium of energy exchange thereby deducing meaning and achieving the state which we call consciousness.
[…]
As energy passes through various aspects of the universal hologram and is perceived by the electrostatic fields which comprise the human mind, the holographic images being conveyed are projected upon those electrostatic fields of the mind and are perceived or understood to the extent that the electrostatic field is operating at a frequency and amplitude that can harmonize with and therefore "read" the energy carrier wave pattern passing through it. Changes in the frequency and amplitude of the electrostatic field which comprises the human mind determines the configuration and hence the character of the holographic energy matrix which the mind projects to intercept meaning directly from the holographic transmissions of the universe.

This concept of interacting energy fields and information exchange is very similar to physicist Nassim Haramein’s quantum vacuum theory, where “information from quantum vacuum interacts with information from matter and is modified by them”.

Both frameworks — one an intelligence exploration program and the other scientific — describe reality as fundamentally holographic, where all information is interconnected and accessible through the proper interface. This is why yogi masters or out-of-body explorers, such as pioneer Robert Monroe or contemporary Darius J. Wright, can access infinitely more information in out-of-body and deep meditative states. Their consciousness (or soul, or spirit) fully resonates with the universal interconnected aether/quantum/energy/unified fields where everything is stored, information that is normally not accessible in our daily physical earthly reality.

This is actually how my wife operates — she attunes to what I call the “invisible graph of information or energy”. This tuning requires finding a specific frequency or vibration within ourselves. She regularly says that she has to raise her inner vibration and pause her mental mind to connect, channel, and then download information from the spiritual world. In fact, one day when she started to channel with my beloved father, she asked him how all of this was working and how communication with him was possible, to which he simply answered: “vibrations, vibrations, vibrations" 🙌🏼

Why the brain comes after your consciousness?

What I’ve learned is that our consciousness or inner vital energy, whether you’re awake, working, or sleeping, is constantly connected to the greater universal fabric of the quantum/energy field. In fact, intuition or things we randomly know out of the blue come from subtle resonance with those energy fields — invisible yet scientifically explained by Nassim Haramein’s papers for instance.3 4 5

As our consciousness first bathes in that flow of universal oneness, also described in The Law of One (Ra Material), a profound channeling experiment conducted in the 1980s by researchers — it means our brain comes second in the perception of reality. Interestingly, the Gateway Process explains that our brain transmutes and reduces three dimensional forms from the energy fields into a more comprehensible binary, two dimensional form, which explains why OBE explorers or people under psychedelics or medicinal plants in supervised experiments report a much more enriched perception of “reality” — even though psychedelic chemicals create a relatively distorted experience compared to OBEs, where we are 100% conscious.

For years, the scientific consensus was that consciousness was housed within our brain, while now it is increasingly accepted that the brain is merely a processing unit that interprets, in its own simplified encoding language, signals and interactions from our consciousness or sentient being, as explained in the Essentia Foundation video below.

That’s why, from a physiological standpoint, the brain hemispheres must synchronize and vibrate at a very low frequency — thanks to binaural beats used in Monroe’s Hemi-Sync protocol and also recommended by Darius J. Wright’s AYDA method6 — to the point where brain activity and heart electromagnetic fields become minimal, so our consciousness can unbundle from the physical body and more easily tap into the quantum field to encounter other invisible realms and dimensions.

Why consciousness explorations matter

The moment we realize we are not only a physical body, but in fact a soul that is fully conscious and can sense even more vividly in the out-of-body state than inside the body (as also described by Darius J. Wright), we immediately understand our deeper connection with the universe. We gather life-changing information about where we come from, what’s our purpose in this earthly life, and since all information is accessible, we can develop compassion and love toward others as we understand why people behave as they do. Great power comes with great responsibility 😊

But above all things, we realize that fear is only a mental projection and illusion of our current existence. Freeing from fear is actually the prerequisite to get out of the body but also to stay in that state. Once we experience this, we start to remember that our soul is immortal and there is no need to fear about anything, including death. As a matter of fact, OBEs are controlled near-death experiences (NDEs) where the concept of death is fully accepted although controlled. When our physical body ceases to function, our consciousness and soul will rejoin where they came from, which is the universal quantum field where everything belongs.

If you want to know more about OBEs, remote viewing and consciousness, I invite you to also listen to Joseph McMoneagle, a former US Army Chief Warrant Officer but more importantly the US Remote Viewer #001, aka psychic spy, recruited in the classified Stargate Project, in the Shawn Ryan Show.

Subscribe now

Happy conscious exploration ❤️✨
Take care.
Serge

1

The Monroe Institute of Applied Sciences presents The Gateway Program

2

US Department of the Army, Analysis and Assessment of the Gateway Process (1983)

3

Haramein, Nassim, et al. “The Unified Spacememory Network: From Cosmogenesis to Consciousness.” (2016)

4

Haramein, Nassim. “Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass.” (2013)

5

Haramein, Nassim. “The Electron and the Holographic Mass Solution” (2019)

6

Darius J. Most of us live in cities, full of junk static electricity and amplified EMFs (electromagnetic fields) to the point some would argue we're living in "electri-cities". Yet humans have been designed to be in resonance with the Earth's frequency, the 7.83 Hz Schumann resonance. Without this connection, we risk imbalancing our biology and facing chronic diseases with mysterious origins.

This isn't a call to quit your flat, not yet 😛 — but rather to first recognize what invisible forces surround you and how potentially toxic they are, so you can find alternatives to live long-term.

Why EMFs are harmful

About 20 years ago I was shocked to read that the official Russian military recommendation regarding cellphone use was only 2 minutes, with a minimum 15-minute pause between calls to protect brain health.1 2

This along with other research led me to quit using my mobile for a full year. I discovered I could organize my life differently, controlling my tech exposure while remaining productive as an entrepreneur. I remember people with phones showed a different attention quality during meetings or dinners, notably more urgency and less depth of connection in the present moment.

Back then, science already showed concerning signals about EMF effects that needed further study. Yet 20 years later, little has changed — authorities and industry still call for more research while we're bathed in an ever-increasing EMF soup in our homes, pockets, on our skin with connected devices, and even worse, wireless earbuds radiating directly into our brains for mere convenience...

One thing’s certain, no study shows EMFs benefit human health, much like cigarettes and alcohol consumption, and as a consequence they remain deeply embedded within our lives. Actually, if you want to deep-dive into the history and risks of EMFs, I highly recommend reading the 2013 article “EMF-5: What are the Biologic Effects of EMF?” by Dr. Jack Kruse.

So what’s grounding?

Life is made of energy, vibrations, frequencies and hence electricity and electromagnetism. Our modern lives positively charge our bodies through synthetic materials and EMFs, leaving us with excess static electricity that disrupts our metabolism, our cellular ionic equilibrium and energy production in our mitochondria.

This is where grounding or earthing offers benefits — physically connecting with Earth creates a pathway for electrons and negative ions to flow between your body and the Earth, discharging the positive charge from our artificial surroundings.

This reduces inflammation as free radicals (molecules with unpaired electrons that cause cellular damage) can bond with new electrons from Earth.

As a rule of thumb, more electrons improve energy production in our mitochondria, as electrons are required in the Electron Transport Chain to produce ATP, our body's energy currency.

This is just common sense: nature connection makes us feel good. Beyond enjoying the horizon at the beach, forest energy or mountain air, it's also about physically touching Earth, like gardening with your hands, walking barefoot, swimming in lakes or the sea, putting yourself in resonance with Earth's frequency. Blue Zones share this common trait: a close relationship with land and nature.

In other words, if you want to live longer, you'd have to reconnect with nature at some point — whether through weekend escapes to gardens, woods or countryside, or simply by living outside the city closer to mother nature.

How can you reduce EMFs

Below some 101 reasonable things and hacks to implement in your daily life to reduce EMF exposure. Some are fundamental and some are more advanced, either way you might need to step out of your comfort zone because there is simply no other choice given our current world 🙂

Consider becoming a paid subscriber to receive more in-depth content for your health

Foundation

Day ☀️

Switch off all wireless networks (GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) when phone is in your pocket or in your hand while doing nothing. It’s particularly important for children to develop this healthy habit early on ✈

Use wired earbuds instead of wireless ones. Meanwhile, ultra-distance events such as Ironman or La Diagonale des Fous (100mi distance & 30k feet elevation) have never been so popular as they are today.

Despite people are training very hard and accomplishing stunning performances, these long-distance running activities are unfortunately detrimental from a health perspective, and I’ll explain why from my longevity lenses.

People who run very legitimately feel good when they do so; their cardio-vascular and lymphatic systems are stimulated, they physiologically trigger beneficial chemicals, and they can even free their minds or listen to podcasts at the same time — no doubt. From a fitness standpoint, this is all good. However, from a health perspective, it is more complex than just moving the body on a terrain and increasing your V̇O₂Max to put it simply — and when it comes to longevity, we need to keep an even broader holistic view.

But, are fitness and health truly intertwined?

The word health is so commonly used by our societies than we have even forgotten what it truly means. Lately, I came across the interesting book Body by Science by Doug McGuff M.D. and John Little, and I very much liked their definitions of fitness, exercice and health as per below, after they thoroughly examined the fitness and medical worlds.

What is fitness?

The bodily state of being physiologically capable of handling challenges that exist above a resting threshold of activity.

Which means, in our case, that running a 10k or 20k+ distance is putting us in that fitness sweet spot.

What is health?

A physiological state in which there is an absence of disease or pathology and that maintains the necessary biologic balance between the catabolic and anabolic states.

Indeed, our body is always in a dynamic state, trying to find equilibrium and homeostasis across its different systems (pH, blood gases, hormone and fluid levels, electrolytes, etc.). This ever-evolving balanced condition between the building-up (anabolic) and breaking-down (catabolic) processes within our body is what truly makes us disease-free from a biological standpoint.

What is exercise?

A specific activity that stimulates a positive physiological adaptation that serves to enhance fitness and health and does not undermine the latter in the process of enhancing the former.

Consider becoming a free or paid subscriber to receive more in-depth content for your health

So what’s the issue?

Injuries

Prolonged and repetitive activities such as running long distances over time very often end up causing injuries, generally after a period of 15 to 20 years of performing them. In fact, most of my friends and people I meet over 30 who are still running or used to run have injured their knees, ankles or feet. This pattern always shocked me as evidence that something was wrong. I remember myself in the early days, performing the Cooper test at the gym, trying to run as much as I could in 12 minutes and get a good score; after just training consistently for a few weeks, my right knee started to hurt because of the repetitive movement and impact, forcing me to stop doing this exercise. You might be surprised that several studies show that injury incidence rates consistently ranges from 50% to 60% among runners, with one injury per 60-280 hours of running, depending on runner experience 😨1234567

Catabolism & Inflammation

Muscle protein breakdown, particularly during long runs, and even worse for marathon runners with elevated markers of muscle damage days post-race. Male endurance athletes who train at high volumes frequently experience decreased testosterone levels, shifting their anabolic-catabolic balance toward catabolism.891011

Long-distance runners have chronically elevated inflammatory markers, while inflammatory protein increase in proportion to running distance and duration.1213

Dosing frequency

The key lies is in the dose-response relationship of exercise. If you aim to balance your health — meaning 50% of muscle breakdown caused by its stimuli (catabolic) and 50% of muscle growth thanks to its recovery phase (anabolic) — then you must consider the intensity of your exercise against its volume and frequency, as illustrated below.

<a class="image-link image2 balanced intensity-recovery strengthens

The misconception of fitness promoting health also lies in the belief that some key markers such as a good RHR (Resting Heart Rate) or V̇O₂Max are enough, without considering the continuous metabolic imbalance and latent damage done to joints and articulations. Indeed, many elite athletes have impressive vital statistics yet suffer from chronic inflammation, insufficient recovery, mental burnout and deteriorating joint health. The world of performance inspires through extraordinary stories but it rarely align with long-term health. After all, Blue Zones where people live to 100 aren’t known for emphasizing athletic performance.

Also bear in mind the fitness industry is a $100+ billion business, and there are economical forces that justify selling false or biased beliefs and spreading them through ads, marketing and influencers 😉

Having said that, now we know balancing intensity and recovery is key to promoting health, below is a counterintuitive yet interesting chart illustrating how reducing the volume of high-intensity workouts relative to a given recovery period could significantly strengthen muscles to their peak — compared to a higher volume with the same intensity and recovery, where the strength progression would plateau. but it’s also important to grasp the multi-facet benefits of low-volume high-intensity running exercises as an alternative. For instance, 4-6 sessions of 30-second all-out sprints with 4 min recovery between repeats, 3 days per week, produced similar muscle adaptations and endurance performance improvements as endurance training that required 5x more time commitment.

IMO, in a world where we’re all chasing time and where time is money, spending time with time-consuming high-volume risky exercises doesn’t make any sense, while other much safer and proper methods could be implemented in our daily lives.

Below is a summary of the benefits compared between low-volume high-intensity and high-volume low-intensity training to help you confront your view on this.

<picture><img src="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!eGzX!,w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fd8fb1ff2-5386-4389-a4a8-fe3e7fef419a_3128x2900.png" width="1456" height="1350" data-attrs="{"src":"https://substack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/d8fb1ff2-5386-4389-a4a8-fe3e7fef419a_3128x2900.png","srcNoWatermark":"https://substack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/eec399fb-fbe4-4e56-adf8-0f6c9e65ce7c_3128x2900.png","fullscreen":null,"imageSize":null,"height":1350,"width":1456,"resizeWidth":null,"bytes":228805,"alt":"Comparison benefits between low-volume high-intensity and high-volume low-intensity training • During our discussion, he told me he has no time or skills for cooking at home, leading him to order UberEats many times a week. This made me think about writing this post and sharing both misconceptions and knowledge about the ease of making nutritious dishes quickly while taking back control of what we put in our bodies by knowing the ingredients.

But first and foremost, to give a bit of context, I’ve been intermittently fasting since almost a decade now. I initially started with a 18-hour fasting window, and hence a 6-hour of feeding window. Over time, the body marvelously adapts and it gets easier to extend the fasting window up to 20, 22 and even 24 hours. Intermittent fasting is both effective and completely free, a powerful tool for anyone looking to improve their health and longevity.

However, as your eating window shrinks, meal quality becomes increasingly important. Your body still needs all its daily nutrients in a single meal without overwhelming your stomach. Planning nutritious, balanced meals becomes essential to successful one-meal-a-day (OMAD) fasting.

At the moment, my eating window is between 2 and 4 hours, which made me optimize my one meal effectively over time with the below 3 principles in mind:

Easily prepared in 5-10 minutes, good for busy people and tougher days

Whole nutrient-dense, fulfilling from both nutritional and volume perspectives

Delicious and savory at the same time, not compromising the taste

My go-to OMAD

Note: I tested vegan, vegetarian, pesco-vegetarian, carnivore, ketogenic and paleo diets for years, and I’ve now found my balanced approach with a low-carb, whole food, organic diet with almost no cereals, some days (pesco) vegetarian and others with grass-fed meat.

I usually break my fast with fruits such as 2 kiwis and wait ideally between 30-45 minutes before my OMAD. I love eggs and I do them “perfect” from a culinary standpoint, which means I put them in the oven at 145°F / 63°C for 45-60 minutes, according to how I want them more or less translucid and firm (best way to have your eggs cooked while preserving all vitamins). That way I’m gently letting my body understand food will be coming soon to smoothly re-stimulate my hormonal system, while nicely waiting for my eggs 😋

Here is my typical organic OMAD composition:

5 perfect eggs + Himalayan salt, oregano, chives and Cayenne pepper

1 oz / 30g of hard raw milk goat or sheep cheese, like Ossau Iraty

½ lbs / 250g grass-fed steak, beef liver or pork with Himalayan salt, thyme and rosemary, on non-vegetarian days

Avocado Savory Meal as per below, prepared in just 5-10 minutes

Avocado Savory Meal

Ingredients

Don’t be intimidated by the below list: it’s basically one avocado, oils, nuts, some fruits, chocolate, herbs and spices — and hence very easy and fast to prep 😉

<picture><img src="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!R7wC!,w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F41f2dff6-02fc-47b0-8cb3-c4cedb4cba1a_3238x5284.png" width="3238" height="5284" data-attrs="{"src":"https://substack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/41f2dff6-02fc-47b0-8cb3-c4cedb4cba1a_3238x5284.png","srcNoWatermark":"https://substack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/6b026ac0-0bdb-4ae8-9c1a-e806e02e45db_3320x5284.png","fullscreen":null,"imageSize":null,"height":5284,"width":3238,"resizeWidth":null,"bytes":1104198,"alt":"Avocado Savory Meal • From there, it’s about developing habits and techniques that make meal preparation quick and simple — often faster than waiting for your food delivery 😅

For those making this transition or willing to, I suggest an 80/20 approach: be mindful about your food intake 80% of the time (by buying and preparing it yourself) while allowing flexibility for the remaining 20%, before gradually optimizing further.

Enjoy your homemade savory meals!
Take care.
Serge

PS: Here is below the daily nutrient breakdown of what I typically eat on a non-vegetarian day as described above — What it showed is that I only have 16g of visceral fat, which is extremely low and very rare (top 1%). Free Testosterone is the unbound, biologically active form of testosterone that's directly available for your body to use, which I thought would be at a normal level 💪🏼

Despite regularly taking Rosita fish oil for my Omega-3s, I was surprised to find my levels were a bit low. This led me to quickly add 1 Tbsp / 15ml of organic cold-pressed canola oil to my daily Savory Avocado Meal ✅

My Hormone system ranks in the top 1%, which confirms fasting’s importance for longevity. I consider intermitting fasting the most potent, life-saving and free tool for balancing hormones when done correctly.
